Baird Gives Back
The Forster Herbenson Group is committed to supporting the Eau Claire community by volunteering our time and using our resources. Our ongoing commitment to building relationships in the community and empowering associates to get involved is central to our culture at Baird and our team.
We've engaged with several outstanding organizations, some of which are listed below.
The Community Table & Beaver Creek Reserve, May 2026
We were proud to celebrate the 17th Annual Baird Gives Back Week by volunteering with both the Community Table and Beaver Creek Reserve.
At the Community Table, which provides free daily meals to those in need, our team helped prepare and serve an Asian fruit stir fry along with garden and fruit salads. We also assisted with cleanup following the meal, supporting their efforts from start to finish.
At Beaver Creek Reserve, a beautiful 400-acre natural area filled with diverse habitats, we contributed by cleaning chairs used for group events and helping maintain the hiking trails.
We are grateful for the opportunity to give back and help make a meaningful difference in west-central Wisconsin.

Good Soul 5K Run/Walk
The Forster Herbenson Group proudly sponsored the 8th annual Good Soul 5K run/walk on April 25, 2026. Sponsorship funds are used to provide free online workouts.

Eau Freedom Fun Run & Fest
The Forster Herbenson Group proudly sponsored the 2025 Fierce Freedom Eau Freedom Fun Run & Fest. Our support helped raise awareness, celebrate hope, and fund the work of disrupting the cycles of human trafficking and exploitation.

Feed My People Food Bank, May 2025
We celebrated the 16th Annual Baird Gives Back Week by volunteering at the Feed My People Food Bank. Each year, the food bank distributes the equivalent of 5.85 million meals through a network of programs and partners. Over 75,000 individuals living in our 14-county service area rely on the food provided by Feed My People Food Bank. We were grateful to help make a difference in the fight against hunger in west-central Wisconsin.

Recycling & Shredding Event, May 2025
With the assistance of ShredAway and First Choice Computer Recycling, LLC, we successfully shredded 5,700 pounds of paper and disposed of 2,653 pounds of electronics and appliances!

Good Soul 5K Run/Walk
The Forster Herbenson Group proudly sponsored the 7th annual Good Soul 5K run/walk on April 5, 2025. Sponsorship funds are used to provide free workouts in our community.

Celebrating Earth Day, 2024
We were finally able to host our recycling and shredding Earth Day event this year, after planning and then subsequently canceling the event in 2020 due to Covid. With the help of First Choice Recycling and Iron Mountain, we were able to shred over 6,000 lbs of paper and dispose of over 2,500 lbs of electronics for our clients! We're looking into making this a regularly held event.

Baird Gives Back - Adopt a Highway
Our office recently adopted a section of road along Highway 12/Clairemont Avenue in Eau Claire! We'll send a crew out three times a year to pick up debris and help keep our community clean. We certainly don't mind getting out of the office for some fresh air!

Baird Gives Back to Beaver Creek Reserve and Habitat for Humanity Restore
This year, our office was able to volunteer at two locations. Beaver Creek Reserve in Eau Claire County offers 400 acres of diverse habitats for families to explore. There are nearly 9 miles of hiking trails and many activities and camps for adults and children. We were able to help the Reserve with landscaping during our time there.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore sells gently used building materials, appliances, furniture and household goods that have been donated by individuals and businesses in the community. All of the funds raised provide direct support to support the Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity to build homes. Our volunteers helped organize donations.

Baird Gives Back to Trinity Equestrian Center
Each year in May, Baird encourages its associates to volunteer at a local charity during Baird Gives Back Week. This year, our office donated our $2,500 Branch of the Year winnings and our time to Trinity Equestrian Center in Eau Claire. We helped clean stables, pick rocks, and prepare the center for a national therapy training they hosted that weekend.
Trinity is a wonderful place of opportunity and therapy for youths and teens, veterans, organizations and horse lovers, and we were thrilled to be able to help their community.

Baird Gives Back to Joshua's Camp
Each year, Baird associates are allocated volunteer hours and in 2017, the Eau Claire office chose to work with Joshua’s Camp. This organization serves families that have a child 17 years of age or younger being treated for cancer – free of charge! Events include playing at Action City and Chaos Water Park at the Metropolis Resort and horseback riding at Trinity Equestrian Center.
Our office was able to donate $2,500 to Joshua's Camp, which we raised by being Baird's Small Branch of the Year for the third year in a row! Our office loves working with the families at Camp and we look forward to our continued partnership!

Baird Gives Back to Local Boys & Girls Club
For a week in May, Baird associates all around the country donate their time to volunteer in their local communities. Our Eau Claire office chose to work with the Chippewa Valley Boys & Girls Club, who was in the process of packing and moving to a larger location. 80% of our team spent 24 hours cleaning, packing and helping this great cause in their relocation efforts.
Our office was also able to donate $2,500 to the organization, funds from which were earned by receiving Baird’s Small Branch of the Year Award. We encourage you to check out the Boys & Girls Club new space—it’s an awesome environment for the youth of our community!
